It's meme time again! It's been a long time since I did this.

Name That Code
First up is that Name That Code Programming Language Quiz. Yup, it's totally geeky. But, hey, it totally fits me. Lols!

So the questions just made me scour my brain for what I remember from college, since the only programming languages I really use now are PHP and SQL (and occasionally javascript). It made me want to revisit Java, though. I remember this one sem when Java was, like, most favorite thing to work with. Hehe.

Next up is yet another wedding thing. My other blog posts relating to weddings are the one about my wedding date, and the one about the kind of bride I'm going to be.

What Your Ideal Wedding Dress Says About You

Your Personal Style:
Modern and simple. You like clothes to accentuate who you are, not overwhelm you.

Your Ideal Wedding:
A small ceremony at an old church with a beautiful flower garden

Your Philosophy on Marriage:
You can have a deep commitment without marriage. It's only a piece of paper.

Your Perfect Marriage:
Simply loving each other a little more every day

Huh. I won't object to that, I think. Hehe. Take the quizzes, too, and tell me what you got! :)

During lunch break, for some unknown reason, the topic of conversation is weddings and proposals and what we're looking for in a guy. Funny that while we were doing that, one of my Facebook friends invited me to try the "What kind of bride will you be?" Quiz. Haha! I got this result:

While you aren't ready to throw away all wedding traditions, you want a wedding with a twist You're more inspired by celebrity weddings on E! than from bridal magazines Whether this means getting married on the beach barefoot or a mariachi band for the reception... Your wedding will be a blend of old and new - white dress cocktail, personalized vows, whatever suites you!!!

Can I just say that I LOVE that dress?

The fact that I took this test in the first place says something. And the fact that I excitedly took this test says something else.

...Does it?

Haha! Whatever.

Hmmm... PHP. So happens to be my fave programming language! (Also so happens to be the language I'm coding with right this very second.) Java was my fave at one point in my life, but...yeah. I think that only lasted one semester in college. PHP kicked it off the pedestal.

Aaaaaanyway. Yesh. The first sentence is definitely accurate. But the second one I'm not too sure. I mean, okay, there are times that I change the way I do things, but I still have to check with my co-workers if I really confuse them.

Nyuuuuuu~ I'm such a geek. Haha!

//EDIT I took a couple more. Haha! XD

I retook the OS quiz, changed just one answer and I got:

Hmmmmm....

Anyway.

Man, I SO applaud the people who wrote this stuff. The choices are so hilarious.

There's this one question:
Will the answers to these questions really help you determine my personality?
- No, it's entirely random.
- I believe everything on BBspot.
- It doesn't really matter now does it?
- If I end up Windows ME someone is going to be hurting.
- Hey we're the ones asking the questions, you just answer them and shut up!

... "If I end up Windows ME someone is going to be hurting."

BWAHAHAHAHA! Genius.

You Are a Total Brainiac

You're amazingly brilliant. Some would even say genius.
You're curious, thoughtful, analytical, and confident.

You take on difficult subjects because you want to... not because you have to.
No field of knowledge is too complicated or intimidating for you.

You've got the brains to do anything you want.
It's possible you end up doing everything you want.

I suppose this is pretty predictable. I mean, if you know me personally, my interest in music is one of the most obvious things about me, aside from me being incredibly talkative (though I think I've toned down some). My love for languages and writing is another obvious thing...

Interpersonal? Yeah, I love interacting with people.

Kinesthetic? Hm... I might not play the drums, but my bodily coordination is good enough for ballroom dancing. But street dancing? Not quite. Haha!

As for my logical skills, I totally enjoyed my logic classes in college, and I do fairly well in math... But, yeah: it's not one of my favorite things in the world.

But... How come the intrapersonal intelligence isn't there, though? @_@ Does that mean I don't have any? Nooooooo! I don't think so... I mean, I like examining the inner recesses of my mind, right?

Meh. Aaaaaanyway~

You Scored an A

You got 10/10 questions correct.

It's pretty obvious that you don't make basic grammatical errors.

If anything, you're annoyed when people make simple mistakes on their blogs.

As far as people with bad grammar go, you know they're only human.

And it's humanity and its current condition that truly disturb you sometimes.

Sorry, but when I stumbled on this HP meme page, that was what greeted me, and it just made my freakin' day. I refreshed the page and this is what it gave me:

My Harry Potter Spoiler of Doom is:
James Bond is killed by Hedwig by clever use of the Golden Snitch
Get your Harry Potter Spoiler of Doom

James Bond?! rofl

And, oh yeah: for those who don't know, my first spoiler of doom -- the one with the lounge and candlestick -- was made in reference to Cluedo, a game I grew up with. Hehe. Kids in my neighborhood thought I was weird for liking a mystery board game at 6 years old.

Some of the "spoilers" aren't exactly impossible, like, "Ron kills Draco on the way to the prefect's bathroom". Not probable, but possible nonetheless. And a little less absurd than the others.

No, I have not watched the movie. And no, I did not reserve a book. And, no, I still haven't watched Transformers. Or Rise of the Silver Surfer.

*sigh*

Aaaaaaanyway. Here's another meme.

Your Love Song Is

Yellow by Coldplay

"Look at the stars,
Look how they shine for you,
And everything you do,
Yeah they were all yellow"

You're so in love, it's like a drug.

Your Score: Glamorous Soul

41% Flamboyance, 55% Originality, 64% Deliberateness, 54% Sexiness

[Tasteful Original Deliberate Sexy]

You choose your outfits carefully according to many criteria. You don't like looking cheap, dull or random and you go to great lengths to avoid this. You are successful, too. People admire your taste and sex appeal. Many try to imitate you but not many can recreate your unique style. Sometimes, however, they find you too intimidating to approach. If you don't wear retro style yet, perhaps you should consider it. It would become greatly your sexy, mysterious self.

The opposite style from yours is Fashion Enemy [Flamboyant Conventional Random Prissy].

Glamorous, eh? Haha!

Many try to imitate you but not many can recreate your unique style.

Like, whoa. I have a unique style? I mean—of course I have a unique style—I always thought my style was classic but occassionally sporty (and of course elegant if a formal occasion requires it)... I didn't think people would try to imitate it.

And I really thought I was going to get rated as the Kid Next Door or Sporty Hottie for this quiz. Guess not. Hm.

The art on this quiz is interesting. I like how sketchy they all look. ^___^ You can check out Shiela's result art if you like.

According to the Lakbayan Quiz, I am most definitely not.

I saw this in Aileen's blog, and decided to take it, myself. I got a low score. Haha! I guess I shouldn't have expected much. Sure, I go on "road trips" every now and then, but they're mostly just within Luzon, or, more specifically, Manila.

Hm. Must work on travelling, then. As I mentioned in an old To Do post, I want to travel all over the Philippines before I die. ^^

You Are Upper Middle Class
middleclass

You're stuck in an interesting middle area between upper and middle class.
You're wealthy enough for most people to call you rich (or at least comfortable), but you don't feel rich!
Climbing your way to the top is hard work. And you've often feel stretched for time and resources.
If only you had a little more money! You can't help but wish you had the lifestyle of the upper class.

You may end up: A manager, high school teacher, or accountant.

Other people who share your class: "White collar" professionals and business people

You're stuck in an interesting middle area between upper and middle class.
Stuck? STUCK?! Nooooooo~ I don't wanna be stuck!!! >_<
You may end up: A manager, high school teacher, or accountant.
I'm a manager, but my boss keeps telling me that I'm an executive. He says, and I quote, "A manager just sees to it that daily tasks are done. An executive thinks out of the box , and comes up with what to do for the day."

Climbing your way to the top is hard work. And you've often feel stretched for time and resources.
Rawr. So true. Stress, stress, stress. My eyebags are growing. @_@

You're wealthy enough for most people to call you rich (or at least comfortable), but you don't feel rich!
The quiz results are pretty much accurate, actually. People have ALWAYS thought me to be rich. (That's hard especially in elementary and high school because classmates expect me to treat them for snacks or something. Gak! Peer pressure...) They usually base it on my mannerisms, speech patterns, food preference, choice of TV shows and movies, hobbies, and... other things.

Yeah, I live comfortably, and I thank God for it, but I hardly call myself rich.

...

Yet.

Check back in a couple of years... Let's see then. Heeheehee.

Sounds good, tastes even better. Haha!

Dark chocolate is actually my favorite kind. My older brother once took home some really dark chocolate, 75% cacao content. Yum, yum... I made sure that I controlled myself to take little pieces and ate them s-l-o-w-l-y. And then I tried not to get some more until after a day or two, so that it'll be a whole new experience all over again.

As for wine... Well, I'm not really a wine connoisseur, and although my tongue isn't trained enough to distinguish what kind of wine I'm drinking, I do love the taste of champagne and white wine. Heeheehee.

You are Dark Chocolate

You live your life with intensity, always going full force.

You push yourself (and others) to the limit... you want more than you can handle.

An extreme person, you challenge and inspire the world!

You Are Chardonnay

Fresh, spirited, and classic - you have many facets to your personality.

You can be sweet and light. Or deep and complex.

You have a little bit of something to offer everyone... no wonder you're so popular.

Approachable and never smug, you are easy to get to know (and love!).

Deep down you are: Dependable and modest

Your partying style: Understated and polite

Your company is enjoyed best with: Cold or wild meat

Tagged by Renee. I actually already wrote a journal entry about this in my deviantArt account, but, anyway...

Six weird things about me:
  1. Sometimes I unconsciously slow down my breathing.
Sometimes I even stop. I know we all get those heart-stopping, hold-your-breath moments, but I'm not talking about those. Sometimes, for absolutely no reason at all, I just stop.
  2. I can't sleep without a blanket.
Yes, even when I'm insanely tired. And, yes, even when it's in the summer. When it's hot, I turn the fan on max and then get my thinnest blanket, and drape it on myself. (I eventually kick it off of me, but I can't fall asleep without a blanket.)
  3. People still think I'm 17 years old.
This began when I was 14. It was mostly because of my height, then. They all thought I was in college, when I was still in high school. Now, though, it's still a regular occurrence for new acquaintances to think I'm a high schooler. Even though I'm tall, and I have a natural tendency to be a leader or whatever, people who don't know how old I am think I'm a tall 16-year-old who's just mature for her age. I don't know why, but they do. @_@
  4. Caffeine makes me sleepy.
I think I'm not alone in this, but it's a strange thing, nonetheless. Tea makes me relaxed, and coffee makes me sleepy. Cold Coke simply feels good to drink. There was this one time when my godmother gave me espresso... I fell asleep in a matter of minutes. Chocolate wakes me up, but not because of the caffeine. It's because of the sugar. Oh, and it also gives me migraines, unfortunately. T_T
  5. Drinking water in the morning makes me gag.
The time isn't the key, here, actually. If I was up all night, drinking water is fine. But when I just woke up, I simply can NOT drink water. I have to drink either chocolate or fruit juice, or milk. If someone can explain this to me, please PLEASE do.
  6. When I get one of my hands or feet wet, I have to get the other one wet, as well. I'm a woman of symmetry.
And yet my drawings are almost always never symmerical.
Hehehe. This is fun. By Keysi's suggestion, I tag... him! Hehe. And Beth, Sara, Loraine, Mimi, Sarah, Kei, plus Pinoyblogosphere and BLOGS members who happened to stumble in here. XD

Information
Unhappiness in relationships, according to Dr. Gary Chapman, is often due to the fact that we speak different love languages. Sometimes we don't understand our partner's requirements, or even our own. We all have a "love tank" that needs to be filled in order for us to express love to others, but there are different means by which our tank can be filled, and there are different ways that we can express love to others.

I didn't think it was an unbiased quiz...there were only three questions to answer. But, then again, I LOVED the art

So here it is:

You are a freeform writer. Individualistic with a
sense for the different and challenging, Walt
Whitman and his poetry lacking meter and rhyme
is just what the doctor ordered. You're quick
to write something that the rest of the world
doesn't accept as poetry, quick to separate
yourself from the average joe. An author with a
true sense of self, you have confidence in your
abilities and aren't afraid to show it. :) GO
YOU!
