New ‘do for the new year…ish.

A month ago, I had a 30-peso haircut in a street side parlor near our apartment. My hair was getting rather long, see–longest I’ve ever had it, I think–and I SO wanted to have it cut, but I had to work overtime that day so most salons were closed…until I saw that street side one near our apartment, and I figured that it was better than nothing.

i ended up looking like this.

Okay, so it wasn’t my best haircut in my life, but I thought it was pretty okay. Especially given the price….

At least I did for three weeks. Last week I started getting frustrated with my hair. I don’t know if it’s the length or the cut, but ARGH I wanted to chop it all off again like 2009.

Me in December ’09. Yey!

As much as I LOVED the ’09 cut, it took me two years to grow my hair out, so… not that short, then. Still, I’ve decided to get a haircut! Off to David’s Salon, then! No more of the 30-peso, one-month-only haircuts!

THIS IS NOT A FRIENDSTER PIC.

I’m a little disappointed with it, to tell you the truth. It’s much shorter than I wanted, and I now have to go through the awkward, hair-just-getting-past-the-shoulders phase again. But I suppose it’ll have to do for now.

Therefore, Pinterest friends, expect to see pins about medium length hairstyles every now and then. :D

    LOL

    What constitutes a “Friendster pic?”

    • Sarah says...

Photos of the “Friendster pic” classification have been observed to be taken from a high angle in order to make the eyes bigger, the jawline more prominent, and the body smaller. In most cases, there are more than one person, squeezed together to fit in the frame, in such photos.

Well, well. This reads fluidly enough to be documented in Wikipedia. Or the Encyclopaedia Britannica, which is, interestingly enough, defunct, a situation that may befall the unfortunate Friendster before the year is through.
