I wore red because it’s Christmas

One of the things I don’t usually do is wear red during the Christmas season just because it’s the Christmas season. (Except on our Christmas Eve dinner, where we all dress up and take our family photo in our living room.) Actually, I don’t usually wear whatever-color-for-whatever-occasion on whatever-occasion just because it’s-the-occasion.

But today, I decided to do it. (Ah, yes, I have a lot of “but today…” activities, don’t I?)

Red jacket from my aunt’s closet. White turtleneck from…our office uniform. Jag jeans from a factory outlet along Libertad Mandaluyong – 120Php.  Brand new Naturalizer shoes, also from my aunt’s closet – P1000.

I was ready to get jokes along the lines of,  “uhuhuy~, Christmas colors, eh?” But, pleasantly enough, most people liked my bright red jacket, and gave no jokes. Nice.
