I haven't seen my Blogger Dashboard in AGES.

Some of you may be thinking "What the hell?!" Yes, people, I am that lazy. Lazy enough to not go to my Dashboard to blog. What I've been doing is: I go to http://sarahcada.blogspot.com, and then I click on "Customize" or "New Post" or whatever, depending on what I wanted to do. I can also just go to an old post (or widget) and click on the quick edit icon and edit the thing.

With that feature, I don't have to go to the Dashboard to fix my blog if I'm already logged in to Google. (I always log in to Google via GMail or my Google Homepage). This feature is so awesome... But it also made me lazy. Use the feature, but don't be lazy like me.

Why should you not be lazy like me, you ask?

Easy.

Because you might miss (1) Blogger Buzz from Google/Blogger, and (2) -- and this is the more important part -- you might miss important alerts. Really, really important alerts.

Oh good grief. Until now I can't believe this happened.

I logged into Google today, as usual. And then I went to check on my blog, as usual. And then, I went to the control panel (if you can call it that) for my blog. And then --- I don't know what came over me --- I clicked on "Dashboard". My dashboard appears on my screen, and then, right there under "Random Snowflakes", was written, in big, bold letters:

29 comments to be moderated

I stared at that line for a full 10 seconds.

And then I went "Wha~?"

I clicked on the link, and voila! There they were, 29 comments to be moderated. Some dating all the way back to 2005.

What the hell?!

Honestly, I do NOT remember turning on comment moderation. I've always always left it off, and controlled spam using the word verification tool. But I do NOT recall turning the moderation on.

Then again, my memory does have the capacity to betray me at times.

Aiyayayayayyyyy. I went to check the comments, and some of them were nice to read even though I'm several months late in reading them. But some comments, I wish I read earlier. Like the seven comments on my problem with my thesis. Aside from the comments I got to read last year, seven --- SEVEN!!! --- people commented, trying to encourage me and offer advice. My goodness. And here I am, graduated and working (and swamped), reading comments for my thesis.

ARGH.

Let it be known, though, that I appreciate all the comments. I just feel bad that I read them now. This freakin' late.

So, again, I implore you. Go visit your dashboard. Check if there's anything you need to look at. They're most probably in big, bold letters. Make sure you don't miss them, like I did.
