"Sarah... ikaw ba yan?!"
"Uh... yeah."
That exchange had happened a gazillion times this week. OK, maybe not a gazillion... maybe just a hundred times...
First of all, I've been out of the house a LOT. Now, that might not seem to unusual for most of you, but it is for me. See, ever since I started studying in Los BaƱos, I always stay at home when I'm in QC. I mean, it's logical, right? I only get to stay in our house twice in a week, so I make the most out of it.
Secondly, I got a haircut. Another none-too-unusual thing for the common populace, but for me, NO. It's not that I never get my hair cut, mind you. It's just that I've always liked my hair long, and I rarely have it cut more than once within six months. If that happens, it's usually just a trim. And I don't like trimming my hair. My logic: I'm going to spend on my hair, might as well be something people will actually notice. So I go back to square one. So there. I had my hair cut last week, only one measly month after my last visit to the parlor. VERY un-Sarah.
Third, I cleaned my room. *GASP!* Yes, I cleaned my room. And, no, I didn't just broom the floor, or wipe tabletops clean. I actually weeded through my old stuff. I actually threw out stuff i haven't used for four years (hey, maybe even more). And not only that: I actually reshuffled the furniture in my room. If I painted the walls, I could claim I was in Knock First and actually pull it off (minus the iPods and the laptops...too bad).
And...I went bowling. Goodness, I went bowling. Bowling is a sport!!! *faint* I had awesome beginner's luck, too. I got several strikes :)
...
I got a haircut!
I RESHUFFLED MY ROOM!!!!
...
Man. I still can't get over it.
Oh, and I got contacts, too. A good thing that came out of me actually walking s-l-o-w-l-y through SM with Sara. Yeah, that was another VERY un-Sarah thing.
OK. I better stop now before I realize that I've morphed into something really really really.... not me.
I still haven't voluntarily worn a skirt.
*sigh of relief*
Yeah. I'm still me.
